Shout out for Dirand!

June 09, 2014

Two words: Joseph Dirand… Heard of him?  If you’re in the architectural or design industry, I’m sure you have.  That name is synonymous with bold, dramatic, & classic chic.  I stumbled upon an editorial on him a few months ago and I fell in love with his striking black and white interiors.  Soon after, I had a pin board set up and was flipping through countless beautiful hotel restaurants and private spaces.

There’s something about his distinct design that caught me.  His design has a strong masculine boldness and largess; while the materials can give a softer, feminine texture/atmosphere.  This androgynous mixture is perfectly blended with the natural and artificial lighting.

I strongly suggest that you take a quick peek at this amazing Parisian architect!
